Being mostly inspired by the mundaneness of our daily life. I'm trying to initiate a conversation about our thoughts and how they impact our decisions. My work contrasts recognizable, everyday images with images that we can only see in our dreams or imagination. I let them play with each other to create their new world where no laws exist.

Using mostly oil paint on wood or paper and illustrating with a combination of collage and different mediums. The work gets a lot of dimension and texture. This helps to bring the story to life. The sketches are constructed with many concealed layers. By using bright colors, the pieces still show a sadness and uncertainty.
 
The simplicity of forms and colors allows us to go back to the essentials and let the viewer link his own story to the piece.
